On Saturday, October 18, 2025, I had the good fortune to attend the Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I was kindly invited by Pamela Alwin Fullerton and Penny Alwin, two of Captain Scott Alwin's sisters, to join the family as this honor was bestowed on Scott and four other remarkable Wisconsin aviators.

The Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame (WAHF) has been honoring the men and women who have "shaped Wisconsin's aviation history and set the flight path for its future." By highlighting the accomplishments of pilots, mechanics, educators, leaders, volunteers, and others, the WAHF breathes life into the dreams of future generations of aviation enthusiasts.

In addition to Captain Scott Alwin, Greg Anderson, Ed Lachendro, Mark Lee, and Richard Werling were also inducted. Please join us in congratulation these exception individuals - and their families - on their well-deserved recognition.

Be brave and be kind. It is up to us to make the world a better place.
