Filming the First Interview of the Project

Brian Alberth films our interview with David Keene.

August 24 began clear and warm as we made the trek from Wausau to Sturgeon Bay in Wisconsin’s beautiful Door County to film our first interview for the project.

David Keene, who now makes his home in Montana, happened to be in Wisconsin for a series of speaking engagements, and graciously agreed to an interview. David and Scott developed a friendship in high school that endured until the day Scott died. The two shared many interests including history and cars, and even came up with a creative solution for Scott’s housing while they attended U.W Madison. (You’ll have to watch the film to get the rest of the story.)

We thank Mr. Keene for his time, and for sharing his memories of Scott. And we thank the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Door County for making their community room available to us for filming.
