There was tremendous energy and enthusiasm among the attendees at the American Legion Midwinter Convention. When Penny and I set up our “Honor in the Air” table we hardly had time to take off our coats before we were being greeted by attendees we’re beginning to think of as friends.
In addition to speaking with veterans and auxiliary from Posts where we’ve already made presentations about Captain Scott Alwin, a great Wisconsin and American Aviation Hero, we had an opportunity to speak with so many interesting and interested folks from the Legion Riders, the Sons of the Legion, CVSO’s, and many others.
We look forward to speaking with many of you in the near future to set a date for us to bring our story and our artifacts to your Post or group.
